Gate opens at 4:00 pm Friday and at 8:00 am on Saturday.

The fees for Crossroads at Canterbury are as follows: 

Preregistration is now closed (as of 8/24/07), and full rate fees now apply!

A $3 surcharge applies to all adult non-members.

Advance Reservations: 

There are several advantages to pre-registering for this event.

1. There is a $2 discount on the site fee for Adults and Youth (discount already included in rates listed above).
2. Pre-registering in accordance with the below rules will greatly speed up check-in.  It will be a "fast pass" through the gate.
3. Seating for the feast is very limited.  There are only 130 seats for the Adult feast and 24 seats for the Children's feast.  You MUST reserve in advance to get a seat for feast.  We do not intend to sell seats at the door. For more information, see The Feast.
   
4. There are cabins available for rent for the weekend.  You MUST be pre-registered to rent a cabin.  Information on cabin rental is below.

 

All advance registrations must be post marked by August 24^th.  This allows time for the mail and processing time for the reservation before the event.

Pre-registrations must specify the following:

1. The mundane names of everyone, including children, who are being registered.  Any reservations without the appropriate number of individual mundane names will be returned.
2. For each adult, specify whether a member or a non-member.
3. The ages of the children.
4. For each person on your list, indicate the site fee category, day or weekend
5. Specifically state if you are reserving for feast.  Please Note:  the feast fee for children only applies to the Children’s tables.  Anyone sitting at an adult table pays the adult rate.

 

Pre-registrations must include:

1. The above information.
2. A check made out to “SCA Inc – Shire of Quintavia” for the total amount of your pre-registration.  The check must have your name, address, and phone number on the face of the check.  Please Note:  If you are also renting a cabin, you must include a separate check for the cabin rental. Checks must be in $US.
3. A SASE if you would like your confirmation mailed to you or your email address if you would like it emailed.  Please Note:  This confirmation will help you get through the gate faster.  It will also indicate if you are missing any information, owe any money, or due a refund.
4. If you are a non-member, or don’t have a “blue card”, you should include the Adult Waiver, http://www.sca.org/docs/adltwaiv.pdf.
5. If your children don’t have “blue cards”, you should fill out either the Children’s Waiver, http://www.sca.org/docs/chldwaiv.pdf, or the Family Waiver, http://www.sca.org/docs/waiver_minor_family.pdf, if you have more than one child.
6. If you have “blue cards”, and can make color copies, then you can send the copies with your reservation.  Otherwise, you will need to show your “blue cards” with your confirmation at the gate.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

No unaccompanied minors will be allowed at this event.  Minors who attend with an adult other than their parent must have a Medical Authorization for Minors Form, http://www.sca.org/docs/treatminor.pdf, with them.   See the Site Rules.

Cabin Rental

NOTE: Cabins are SOLD OUT! (23 Aug 2007)

There are three sizes of cabins available for rent  at the site:

Family sized (sleeps 4-6) – 10 available - $50 each

Household sized (sleeps 6-8) – 6 available - $70 each

Clan sized (sleeps 8-10) – 2 available - $90 each.

Please note: Cabins come with an approximate number of bunks/beds. We can not guarantee the number or type (bed or bunk) that will be in your cabin. Please contact the autocrat with any special needs regarding beds, and we will be happy to try and accommodate your request.

You must be pre-registered to rent a cabin.

Cabins are not wheelchair accessible, and feature 2-3 steps at their entrance.

No flames of any kind are permitted in the cabins.

Please see the page about our Site for further description of the cabins.

Please send requests for cabin rental with your pre-registration.  Specify the size cabin you want, and your preference for location (near the gents’ bathhouse or the ladies’ bathhouse).  While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee you will get your preferred location.    If we no longer have the size cabin you requested, we will attempt to contact you to see if you are interested in an alternate choice, or to let you know there is nothing available.  If there are no cabins available, we will return your cabin rental check to you.
